CALL FOR PARTNERS FROM ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME COUNTRIES KA1
“Atitudini si Alternative” Association (Romania) is interested in finding partners (NGOs) from European Union zone for the project “Young Journalist – Smile For Traditions“, application that will be submitted till October 4, 2016 proposed in the Erasmus Plus Framework Programme, Key Action 1 (KA1), Learning Mobility of Individuals, Youth Mobility.
This project is designed for the duration of 11 months, between January 3, 2017 and December 2, 2017 and it involves a total of approximately 24 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants per country. Eligible age for participants: from 18 to 30 years.
Youth exchange action will take place in Bucharest, Romania and will have duration of 14 days, in the period between July 3 and July 16, 2017.
The project is addressed for youth persons that share a common passion for journalism in all its aspects.
This action of youth exchange is intended to promote the European culture and citizen rights through mass-media, as well as providing the training for basic journalistic skills and techniques.
Thereby, the main activities will consist of achieving notions of photographic art, article writing and press releases, interviews carried on by the participants and also elements regarding editing images and films.
The main purpose of this project is to highlight and promote the traditional customs and cultural attractions in the capital of the host country (Bucharest), but also to share different aspects of each participant’s native culture by using several journalistic tools.
By combining 2 types of themes: Art and Culture with Mass-Media & Communication all the participants will benefit both of the classical (exercise, team work) and non formal (interviews, stories/reports, experiential learning, brainstorming etc.) methods of training.
Through this comprehensive combination of methods we estimate that the subjects will obtain new skill in order to understand and asses better the information from mass-media, in a vision that embraces cultural plurality, eliminates the prejudices and promote the dialogue between nations.
